Anyone who has ever been to a live comedy show knows the feeling of dread that can manifest in the back of one's mind when a performer is feeling a little frisky and decides to start playfully picking on audience members.
Helpful note: avoiding eye contact and staring at the ground never works. In fact, this tactic probably only entices the comedian even more.
The faint of heart may want to avoid "Matt &," an improv comedy show starring Matt Holmes and a randomly selected audience member.
Yep, that's right - attend at your own risk, because there's a percentage chance you may be on stage, front and center.
The show gets underway at 7 p.m. Sunday at the Philly Improv Theater, 2030 Sansom St. For more information, go to phillyimprovtheater.com.
